Mammoth used to have an internally-moderated web forum that was popular with ML locals and frequent Mammoth skiers, linked through their website. Apparently it was too much cost or trouble, or too many people were critical or Mammoth management, or they just had to meet their quota of acting like money-grubbing corporate assholes, so last year they fended the forum off to an independent site, eastersierraforum.com. Now that website has gone belly up as well.

The lucky holder of the brass ring is a look-alike forum at MammothForums.com apparently run by a Mammoth Lakes local. It has the look and feel of the original
Mammoth Forum, but not as much traffic yet. It is free to access, but posting requires registration and moderator approval.
