Boots for Narrow Feet - Help
Is that true only for the F24 or for both the Malamute and the F24.
Doesn't the F24 use the Intuition liner as well? "Dmitry" wrote in message news:9kWWb.16407$yE5.77541@attbi_s54... "tg" wrote After all of the help on my narrow feet, I decided to get some Salomon boots. I was looking at the Malmutes and the F24 and decided to go with the F24. Note that you don't have an option of using a custom liner with them later, the factory liner is not removable. |

Doesn't the F24 use the Intuition liner as well? I don't think F24 is heat-moldable the way a full-blown Intuition liner is. Malamute has a regular separate liner, while in F24 the toe part of the liner is actually integrated with the outer shell of the boot. |

And unless something has changed drastically in the past two years, while the Malamute liner is moldable, it can't hold a candle to the Intuition-type liners. |

So what I am hearing then is to go with one of the non F series Salomon
boots and replace the original liner with an Intuition liner for the best fit? Thanks again for everyones help. "Mike T" wrote in message ... Sure - but you might try the liner that comes with the Salomon before you spend the extra money on an Intuition liner. It *just might* work out. Do spend a good amount of time walking around the store before you hand over your money... and make sure the fit is in line with your expectations. Any of those nice Salomon boots is going to set you back upwards of 300 USD. Mike T |

Unluckily, I live in Kentucky, so finding a store where I can try them on is
a stretch. It would give me a good excuse to make it back out to Utah again. Mailorder is usually the way I have to go. Tim "Mike T" wrote in message ...
