I had some Olin Sierras which were the X15 without the peizo. I
think they were the best ski I ever had. I have heard some
criticisms of the X15, but for a cheap, very versatile ski how
could you go far wrong.

I guess your skiing has improved ... or your lying has.

About the time I got my Sierras you were whining here on RSA that the
Sierra was just too much ski for you to handle ...

Was that before or after I scraped you off the hill at Crystal, after you
crashed off the CAT TRACK into some trees? Boy, who'd have thought the old
man would have so much blood in him. You certainly left a lot of it on the
snow that day.

What a sad, pathetic old coot you are.

Yes, I remember that trip, and all your racist comments about "abos" and
others on the way home.

You're the sad, pathetic one. Was it on the Banff downhill course where
you sat down and cried?

And how much did you end up shelling out to settle that little
defamation case, after defaming the ski instructor / optometrist in Oz?

How can you justify bragging about whooping up with the people drinking
and toking on the Gondola at Whistler, then turn around and say you
"heartily endorse" a policy of not drinking / drugging while skiing?

You're just a phoney, in oh so many ways.

Noun 1. phoney - a person who professes beliefs and opinions that he
does not hold
dissembler, hypocrite, phony, pretender
beguiler, cheater, deceiver, trickster, slicker, cheat - someone who
leads you to believe something that is not true

"leads you to believe" contains a certain implication of success.
Is it this key phrase which separates you from the real phonies, Bert?

Lotsa "abos" to discuss up here in French Trashcanistan, eh Bert?

Bert has dementia!

You really /were/ a ****ty Lawyer!

You're just a phoney, in oh so many ways.

You are the cure to my insomnia, gaswerks.

Exactly correct! (for one meaning, at least)

However, most people use "phony". Surprised you didn't know that.

fell? No, he careened, he flew wildly, he CRASHED off it! Straight into some
dead trees which tore bits off him. It took him a while to re-appear,
stagger slowly back onto the track, and get his skis back on. He was
bleeding like a stuck pig too (odd that).

Uncoordinated olde blusterer, maybe Scott uses him as a kind of sea
anchor?

I shudder to think what scott uses him for. It's plainly evident what Bert
uses Scott for!

Was there any kind of debris attached to Spock, slowing his wild
descent, back in the day?

It was 6 years ago, so it's kind of hard to remember. He'd gone off to get
some special race skis for this run, which goaded everyone into sillier
excesses of un-seriousness.
Luckily, he did not resort to a speed suit. Oh my stars.

Sigh. We were so bad.

You read that entire post? I went into "Foot" mode, I'm ashamed to say.

That's a good bit though. Bert tends to be attracted to things that are
most like himself, the above description included. He doesn't trick many
people, in fact he's only had one success so far, but I guess he lives in
hope.

Better hurry up Bert, what are you now? 75?

More of the fat old cow blithering on and on. Whassa matter? Run out of
people to do your dirty work for you? Are they seeing you for the fool
that you are, and abandoning you?

Better send out some more e-mails for re-enforcements. If Maverick is
the only one you could come up with, you've got a problem ...

Yup. You were so bad you lost the race to Scott in the gates. So crappy
a skier that a "fat old man" could beat you.

Tell us the story about how your wife got disgusted with you one evening,

When in the US, I often get the giggles in the tinned veggies aisle, if
there's tinned Yams.
