Ski recomendations

I'm off for a season in Whistler and need to buy some skis!

I've been skiing for 12 weeks and am confident on all pistes and
reasonably happy off piste, mostly in good conditions though. Planning
on spending time mostly off piste but don't really want to go for off
piste only skis.

I'm looking for recomendations for an all mountain / free ride ski.
I've been renting each time so far, mostly saloman skis which have
been nice but am interested in people opinions about any make.

If anyone knows of any review sites then please post them.

You get very good bang for your buch with Head Monster skis. Available in
many widths, depending on if you want to optimize for powder or piste
skiing.
