They got 44" over the last few days. It was damn cold today and I only

Get those hands up, Matt! You're getting your weight too far back there.

Jon Bond
just jealous because the sum total of precipitation here the past few days
has been 4" of rain and 3/4" snow...

Yeah, yeah. It does look a little awkward, I know. I think that was just
that moment when he snapped the photo. It's a pretty tight spot and I was
trying to figure out where he was hiding (so we don't just end up waiting
for each other in different places - I'm sure you've all been there), which
will always add to the effect.
I usually keep 'em more like this:

(not the waving guy).

It didn't snow Monday in Summit County (Oootah), but it has every day

since
Christmas Eve. It snows, it settles, the wind blows and it snows some

more.
I'd guess near the summit (only about 7K ft.), there is roughly 5 more

feet of
snow than mid-December. And it's still snowing...

What summit are you talking about? PC main street is about 7K? Isn't
Parley's about 8400? I'll look today if there's a sign.

This, coming from a self-professed powder hound, sounds strange indeed.

The sign on the side I-80 at Parleys Summit says 7016', which is weird because
it *seems* higher than Old Town Park City, which actually crosses the 7000'
contour line right at the base of the Town Lift. You slowly climb back up into
PC once you bottom out at Jeremy Ranch (6,300').
