All thomas did was give his opinion on the coaching situation and said he could not operate under those conditions set by Inge. In no way did he attack the reputation or integrity of him.

While the criticism was not personal, as Braten is claiming, to suggest
a coach is not structuring a program correctly does speak well to his
reputation. The problem in these sorts of circumstances is to figure
out the real story. The athletes were supposedly complaining last year
about Alsgaard being a no show, and Braten's reply suggests Thomas was
not around as much as needed or anticipated. It couldn't have
given confidence when he started talking about living in Western Europe
part of the year and becoming a race car driver.

Apparently they are friends again. Alsgaard is gone though, with a
shoort time left until Sapporo = not good.

Lots of coverage here in Norway in the papers. Sounds like a whole
