A poor ski winter coming and what to do about it ?

of a mild and slushy winter"
Basen: "WHAT!"

B: "I refuse to accept a new winter with bad ski conditions"
L.G. : "It is because the world's oceans are warmer than normal"

Berit: "What's Basen up to?"
LG : "Dumping ice cubes in the sea"
Basen: "I am doing what I can!"

Basen is the guy in charge of clearing, maintaining and grooming
the ski trail system in Oslomarka. Lillegutt is his son, Berit
is a skiing and fitness fanatic.

When I was at Sovereign Lake last weekend one of the officials was all
worried because snow had blown into the automated weather machine and he
couldn't get a weather report to put on the NorAm race results.

Someone asked him, "Why don't you look out the window?"

if Adam had been in Norway at this years November 10th-20th he might
not have been that lucky with snow... Late October was
more ok this year than early Nov.
