bare spot on skins

I have ascension skins which are now several years old. the adhesive is
good except for a bare spot about an inch and a half in diameter in the
middle of the skins at the tail, which causes the tail to pull up quite
easily when removing the skins. Can a single limited bare spot be
patched with adhesive or do I have to reglue the entire skin?

Worth a try, if you can spot clean it well enough for new glue to
adhere. Pretty common for some parts to lose it earlier than others.

Worst case, it won't work and you will have to clean off the old glue
and reapply new glue everywhere in either case.
