Read a horror story last night about a company that was contracted to
build snow features for the competition. They will only pay them into
Russian bank accounts which they provided without signatures and
approval and ten days after the event is over.
Nothing mentioned in contract about this. & where I read this last night
has taken it down. & they had re-posted it from a blog that was taken down.

Some thing is fishy over there. Some of us remember how well the first
Iron Curtain worked so beginning to believe the second ring of steel is
to make sure no money ever leaves the country.

Here is another horror story about the corruption of the Winter Olympics at
Sochi..

The regular media ABC is starting to show stories about the construction
not being finished yet. and starting to ask questions about other
stuff like why is the media housing so far behind construction that it
will not be ready for the 2018 games.

Missed the bulk of a story about questionable construction of freestyle
and snowboard features on Nightline.

I just hope no North American athletes get hurt from construction
improprieties.

Why limit your desires to "North Americans?"
Shouldn't we hope no one is injured?

In a world where people were pure and had good intention maybe.
It will probably take a death or two to make the rest of the world see
how much they screwed up and I would rather it be one of them as through
history they have placed little or no value on life.

Back to something I learned in the 60's you can not complain if your car
stereo gets stolen if your happy to replace it by getting one that fell
off the back of a truck.

Athletes have already been hurt in the snowscraping qualifying

I hope no Winter Olympic Athlete gets injured. The most likely sports
that an athlete will get injured will be at the bobsled/luge course, if a
joint or joints between sections are a out of place, or the ice making for
the course is not functioning properly. (the only fatality at the
Vancouver 2010 games was a bobsledder, IIRC)

As much as the IOC is full of corrupt toadies. Each sport in the Summer
and Winter Olympics has its own governing bodies, which monitors and
certifies the venues for their sports at the Winter Olympics. The big
problems with construction has been the ski jump, mainly the Russkies were
told not to build the ski jump in the location that they put it in, which
has caused major mud slides, and it had to be rebuilt.

There is a Bloomberg News report that the Deadspin article is based on, and
has much more info on the Endemic Corruption that is tied to Russia today
and the Putin Regime...

How about you start here by cleaning up your act, asshole?

How about you put a gun to your head, dumbass?

There's no need to fear if Trunky is near.
