Default Hiking Half-dome

I have added hiking to the top of Half-Dome in Yosemite to my bucket
list.

Does anyone have any advice or experiences to pass on?

Traditionally you must carry a fifth of Cognac and fine crystal snifters
for the summit celebration.

Also, the fixed cable is more crowded than the Hillery Step on Everest,
so go out of tourist season at least. Pay attention to forecasts of
afternoon thunder showers: avoid lightening which has a perverse habit
of knocking climbers dead for being the highest point on the summit.

I understood there was a NPS-approved champagne vendor at the top.

My plan is to go on a weekday in September, although my travel plans
are still being adjusted to accommodate soccer schedules and the like.

I'm betting an EMERGENCY SOCCER GAME will break out in Yosemite. Tell
you what. Give me the contact info of the NPS officer you lied to and
I will discuss your plans to get drunk in a national park.

What happens if you lie on your back with your penis pointed upwards?

I don't know about LAL, but if I tried that, I'd be at high risk for
getting my nose struck by lightning

More research - in San Diego we have a microcosm of the Half-dome
hike: Stonewall Peak in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. It is a 2-mile
hike from the campground, gaining about 900 feet and ending in a
railed stairway the last 50 feet or so. See photos he

http://www.t246.com/stonewall-peak.php

If I hike up 5 miles from the other end of the valley and do the
stairway climb 10 times in a row, that should be a start for training.

What is you nose doing overtop of your penis? IF you are that flexible you
