Default timing

It amazes me with a timing system being based on 4 wires that they have
not figured it out yet. Either you replace the wires when it is warm out
or you play some sort of game and shake it until it works again.
We are stuck in a warm weather cycle down here. It is too soft to set
gates at Tuxedo as the temps are expected to hit 50 today there.
Pulled a silver at Hunter yesterday and I am ranked 7 out 8 there in my
age group. Too many Russians and other regular full time skiers. Many of
the guys just wore speed suits it is a tough crowd they run a good
program so it attracts good racers.
I ran on my 165 rock skis to start and after my legs were tired I
switched to my new 174 GS redsters I gained a full second. I should have
tried my 181 skis but after 3 runs my legs were toast.
I had run thursday night at Sundown was supposed to be a race but timing
failed. I had sign up for coaching and video analysis my first run was
very aggressive I was told timing was down for night the rest of my runs
not so much. The coaches said my first run was great what happened: All
my coaches have complained about my game level vs my practice level
aggression just do not get in ready to kill self mode for practice. In
ice hockey practice my coach named me the heart attack kid I would use
the least amount of movement to deflect puck in practice always showed
lots of net on one side so you knew where they were going to shoot.
