I'm preparing a 2-hour lecture for graduate students at IIT on the
subject "Introduction to electromagnetic compatibility".

I can't pass this up. "Electromagnetic compatibility?" *It takes about
two minutes to explain that positives are attractive to negatives and
vice versa. *I did that in less than two minutes. *What are you going
to do for the other one hour and 58 minutes?

Electromagnetic compatability (EMC) is what ensures that your laptop
does not make you glow in the dark,

Nope.

that your cellphone or computer
does not cause airplanes to circle your house and land in your back
yard,

Pilots do that.

and that you can use multiple electronic devices in one house at
the same time and not have them malfunction.

Nonsense.

There are more than
4,000 EMC engineers worldwide (members of the Institute of Electrical
and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)),

I'm familiar with the I triple E. I was a member or IBEW and a
Communications Engineer.

and we in the Chicago area are
sponsoring a four Saturdays, 4 hours per Sat, 16 hours total,
Introduction to EMC Course for seniors and grad students in local area
colleges and for graduates who want to earn continuing education
credits (CEUs) similar to Personal Development Hours (PDHs) that many
professionals have to take periodically to get local and state
Professional Engineers (PE) licenses. I am doing the first 2-hour
class, there are three other instructors who are doing the 3 other
classes and 4 lab sessions. I'm doing science fair judging the other
Sats.

There's an old Chinese saying that I once made up. It goes a little
something like this, "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle
them with bull****."

I go for the brilliance route myself.

Man made has a higher water content.

Like a drop of ice. I think as an example you ride up in the lift with
the snow falling and you can leave your goggles off but if they are
making snow and the chair passes through that snow any exposed skin hurts.

Has one tried the goggles with the heads up display and connects to your
android phone it is a google project.

No, but I have a heads up display on my Harley helmet. It gives me
speed, RPM, fuel level, and GPS info.

Is that an add-on to a helmet or is the part of the helmet.

No. I just made it up. But I'd like to have one.

Hey, does it have a gauge that tells you when your diapers are full?
