Default need help mounting bindings on fischer skis

I am mounting a pair of nnn-bc bindings on Fischer S-bound Snow Bound
skis, and have discovered that the balance point where you normally
mount the pin center is about 2 inches behind the mounting point marked

on the skis. Fischer won't tell me what to do they just say to take
them to a dealler. I've called 4 dealers and they aren't sure what to
do. Some say split the difference. Does anyone in this group know
what to do?

mounting bindings at a dealer usually costs $10. mounting bindings at
home may become a half-day project since you don't have the tools
dealers have. I used to mount bindings myself, but then figured that
it's not worth my time, and mistakes are hard to fix.

When I was doing it myself I never trusted the balance point drawn on
the skis by the manufacturer and measured it by balancing the ski on a
knife. Half-inch discrepancies were nornal (that's on racing skis). 2
inch discrepancy sounds a lot.

I mounted bindings (75 mm cable) on my new Fischer S Bound Boundless
skis last year. They balanced right on the balance point marked on the
skis. Small discrepancies are pretty common but 2 inches seems quite a
bit. I'd consider returning the skis to the dealer for a new pair and
having them mount the bindings.
