Default First timers in Breckenridge

A group of friends and I are planning a ski trip to Breckenridge, CO
Feb. 19-23. I've skied once before several years ago, but this will
be my girlfriend's first try. I got talked out of taking lessons last
time because my friends thought that my years of playing hockey would
translate well to skiing. They were at least partially right, so I
don't regret skipping the lessons. I don't, though, want to put my
girlfriend through the same things I went through - specifically the
mount/dismount of a ski lift ride without knowing yet how to ski and
the 'trial by fire' of the first run. I also don't want her to have
to go it alone, so I promised I'd look into lessons for the two of us.

Anyway, I guess this is my long winded way of asking for
recommendations for lessons. Anyone have any positive experiences or
would recommend a particular provider for instruction? Any ideas what
I should expect to pay? I've done some googling but haven't come up
with too much yet, so I thought I'd ask you fine folks.

Thanks in advance!
Tim
