Default 50 K almost

I hit the 50 K route about Afton, Minnesota on Sunday,
usual time and place. I'll post a few notes, maybe
just to encourage others to get out there. I think
we need a few more to stake our claim to the middle
of the road. That was a joke.

One other skier showed up. We had one Bill, and one
Bob, both on Marwes.

Neither of us did the full route. I made it to the
top of the Coulee and up the climb on 50th, then I
short-cutted as much as possible back to Oak-Land.
Roughly 40 K worth.

The surface on Neal is worse than ever. At least
the potholes tend to slow down some of the
truck drivers, or at least you can hear them coming
more easily.

Maybe a few more skiers will show up after the Flat Tire
Festival.
