Default Atomic makes Black Diamond Skis?

Has anyone heard this rumor? I've been reading up on the TM:22's, and in
several sites, they mention that Atomic makes the Black Diamond skis. While
these sites may reference the wrong information, it's interesting that this
has been raised.

If this is so, what ski from Atomic is the Arc Angel molded after? What is
the black diamond version of the TM:22?

depends on your definition of 'makes'.

BD skis are made in the same factory as Atomic (see crossbow review on this
page for details: http://www.telemarktips.com/SkiRev02_03.html)

But they're BD designs that Atomic produces. There's no such thing an a pure
equivalency here. I see the havoc is another Atomic-produced BD ski.

You can get TM:22's right now for less than $200 if you hit the right retailer
who's dumping stock (graphic change for next year) or peruse ebay. And as an
ecstatic owner of tm:20's, tm:rx's, and tm:x's, i dunno why you'd want BD
anyway!
