Default Hills near Sutton, Vermont

Hey guys..

I have the opportunity for a weekend in Sutton, Vermont.

Any one have any high recommendations for nearby hills?

I've been to Jay Peak, wasn't overly impressed, but I suppose it was mostly
due to the weather/snow conditions.

One run I really enjoyed at Jay Peak was the "Jet", which is a really nice,
wide, flat steep, awesome for carving... I got down it once, and then they
shut down the lift for the rest of my stay... grrr...

Any suggestions are appreciated. Going to Vermont Fri Feb.27th for the
weekend.

Personally- I think Killington is the most awesome overall resort in
the entire N.E. Not to say you won't get THOROUGHLY ripped off ($67
day lifts non-local to VT, NH or QUE). However, it has 180-something
trails and you will most definitely find killer runs...(its pretty
much impossible not to in a place that big).

Killington is off of route 4 about 10 miles from Rutland.

However- Killington is not near Sutton...Its Southern VT 20 mins from
NY state...

But just as a thought...Honestly I think its worth the drive..then
again I'm 35 mins from it so ..i'm spoiled a whole lot

Mike- I still have yet to go to smuggs!!!!!!!!!!!!1

dude I emailed you and it kept bouncing and ****.!

You can drive across 15 and go to Smuggs or Stowe. If you
continue south from Stowe is Sugarbush. I think Burke is
also near you, a little smaller though.
