Breckenridge Lift Tickets
Anyone know how to get cheap(er) lift tickets for Breckenridge. We will not
have a car, so we only want Breckenridge and not Vail and everything else, as well. This is in the second week of march. Thanks! Sankalp |

Breckenridge Lift Tickets
Hi, Sankalp & all,
"Sankalp Malhotra" wrote in message ... Anyone know how to get cheap(er) lift tickets for Breckenridge. We will not have a car, so we only want Breckenridge and not Vail and everything else, as well. This is in the second week of march. We've just come back from Breck, and it was excellent. We booked lift tickets through our tour company, and that was quite a lot cheaper ($266 for 7 days, IIRC) than getting them in the resort. However, I don't think you can save anything further with a "Breck-only" ticket (perhaps because the resort is owned by the Vail people anyway?). HTH, have a good one, Steve, England |

Thanks! Sankalp As mentioned by a previous poster, try your lodging company. They usually can do the best package deal. Failing that, any ski shop in town will have discounted tickets, all at pretty much the same price. Check the AB Ski and Sport website at http://www.abskisport.com to see what the price is likely to be. You cannot get a Breck only ticket. Your tickets will be valid at Arapahoe Basin and Keystone as well. If you want to ski those places, it isn't a problem that you don't have a car. The county has an excellent free shuttle bus system, and Vail Resorts (owners of Breck and Keystone) also runs shuttles to Keystone and A-Basin. ---------------------- Chester Bullock, Colorado Mountain Cams, Snow Conditions, Opinionated Reports http://www.black-diamond.com AIM: tenxible YahooIM: ccb247 |

The internet prices are cheaper, especially if you're coming for a week or
so. www.snow.com -- http://www.endlesswinter.co.uk "When Hell freezes over, I'll snowboard there too" "Chester Bullock" wrote in message ... Breckenridge Lift Tickets
Just got back from my second trip this season to CO. I found great prices
on discount tickets at the Starbucks in Downieville (I think this is the name of the town; about 35 miles west of Denver on I70 enroute to hills.) $29/day to ski Copper; $150 for 3-day Breck/Keystone/ABasin. You should be able to buy them for about $45/day at King Soopers (Kroger.) Copper at @$29/day is a bit low (must be a special).... it should also be about $45 day at King Soopers. If not, Copper at $29 per day is a no-brainer over those other areas (much better ski mountain, anyway.) King Soopers, Gart Sports and Breeze are the usual outlets for Summit County areas offering discount tickets for the Front Range. I suggest you call a Denver area King Soopers store, ask for the Customer Service Desk. They can tell you current price of the tickets... typically 33% off the ticket window price.
