Any good?

I see they offer two classic versions: 30mm wide and 35 mm wide wheels.
Is there much difference? Also the classic beams are 700mm...or 500 or
600...sounds like whatever you want.

Yes, these are good rollerskis. I own a pair of the skates (I think
the model was P100) and am very satisfied. I would definitely order
again, especially the wheels. On my original order, I also ordered
extra wheels. The wheels fit my F1s, and would work on Marwes as well.

The only hassle is dealing with international money transfers and
shipping. If you are in the EU, a money transfer is easy. However,
some U.S. banks can really hike the fees for a foreign money transfer,
so one pair can get more expensive.

My rollerskis are only about a cm or two longer than my Elpex F1s, and
the shafts are pretty much the same.

I corresponded via email and got prompt responses.

So, I'm curious. How much does a money transfer cost? How much does
shipping cost? How long does shipping take? i.e., what's the bottom
line?

Maybe the guy takes PayPal or Visa. Man, that would totally smooth
everything out. Those guys handle all the conversion.

The easy way is to pay with "teller's check" that can be bought at
the bank and send by mail to the location. It doesn't cost anything
and works sort of like traveler's check.
It is accepted anywhere in Europe.

My wife works for a German-owned company, and was able to handle the
money transfer in Europe while she was there on business. So you'd
have to check with your local bank...some banks are more expensive
than others. My only experience with a money transfer was when I was
booking sleeping space for the Engadin Skimarathon in Switzerland.

At the time of my purchase (less than two years ago), my total cost,
including shipping, was approximately $150 U.S., and that included the
rollerskis, four extra wheels (two sets) and shipping. Of course, the
exchange rate has changed since then. You could email the company to
inquire about final costs if you are interested. I had no problem in
getting a reply.

Shipping took a little under two weeks.

Bottom line: Once I purchased the bindings, I spent a little over $200
for a very nice pair of rollerskis.

I suppose you do take a chance...if you get a faulty shaft, or need a
replacement spacer. But again, I have had no problem with the skis and
would order again.

Mark

At the time of my purchase, I know that they did not take credit cards
or PayPal.

Never heard of "teller's check." There are cashiers checks and then the
more informal kind, which is a bank check the teller types out, as if
the customer were making a withdrawal and wanted the money in a check
rather than cash. Other than a bank, there are money transfer services
that are usually much cheaper than banks because they specialize in it.
In the States, use the Yellow pages -- at least in a big city.
