Default Chamonix info needed

I'm off to chamonix this weekend for a stag do with a mixed bag of skiers
for 3 days skiing and the odd shandy.

Is it better to just buy a daily lift pass for each area? ie I'm thinking
of skiing one day at Le tour, one at Brevant and one at Argentiere.

Can anyone recommend a good guide who will do half day off piste guiding
for me, and can speak english?

thanks,

Greg

There are dozens of Chamonix guides - one or two names spring to mind
- Roland Steiger (French, but top bloke and v. good english - used on
the rep's course) Dave Cumming, Steve Boyden, for example. The Ski
Club's info service may have contact details, or just go along to the
Bureau des Guides and ask.

There are a large number of British Guides operating out of Chamonix,
particularly in Argentiere. I usually stay in Argentiere and there is a
new ski/mountain equipment shop on the high street which houses a branch
of footworks and also is the office for one of the BMGs.

You can get the contact details from

URL:http://www.bmg.org.uk/search.html

You'll see that a lot of them have addresses in or near to Chamonix.
