Mont Blanc - Grand Mulets Route

Is this the guides or the clients? If I were a guide, I just wouldn't want to take anyone up that route. It can't be worth it... or maybe it is, depending on their fees. I don't know if you are following the news from Chamonix but 3 climbers have been killed by Seracs in the Grand Mulets area this week. They were part of a group on a training course coming down from le Mt Blanc with a guide. |

It looks incredibly warm out there with the FL being from 3600 to 4100m! Anything left at the Midi? talked to my cousin there (guide) told me its very dangerous conditions due to melting ice. seracs are very dangerous and he said he would never dare the grand mulet route in this conditions Looks like the comments in the previous posts bout this choice of route were sadly verified. nils |
