Weird Ukraine Fischer "RCA" carbon = heavy?
I just bought a pair of Fischer RCA classic carbon race skis, 210,
made in the Ukraine. Well, they're trainers, I suppose. They weigh 1700 grams for the pair! That seems heavy. My Fischer wood/air core touring skis, 210, are 1600 gr a pair. The new Fischer Backcountry singlecamber woodcore skis are 1800 gr a pair and are called heavy. So these race skis are almost up there with BC skis? Weird. My old Rossi classic race skis are about 1100 pr, I recall. Seem very light! --JP outyourbackdoor.com |
