FS: V2 Aero 125s
For Sale: V2 Aero 125s with speed reducers. New style frames with
mounting holes for 150s. Split rims, 1 set of usable tires, 1 set usable tubes. About 1500K on them, since fall 2002. When I bought them, I bought them in good faith, supported Len's efforts to fix the wheel problem, and even PAID for the Split Rims, when Robin told me they weren't sending those out free. While I applaud Jenex's efforts to make good on the initial tire failures, I don't think they went far enough to make good once they realized that the skis are only suitable for someone 150lbs. In truth, I still like the way the 125s feel better than my new Marwes, but at 190lb, I keep having tube problems and cannot afford to coach highschoolers on a pair of skis that can (and have) leave me hung out to dry several miles from home or the school. If someone would like them, I'll make a good deal, but I won't give them away. Marsh Jones New Brighton, MN |

V2 Aero 125s
Hello,
I also have a pair of Aero SR 125's. I weigh 180 lbs.and had nothing but problems. I agree Jenex has a very defensive attitude. After I returned my first tire I received "evidence" photos from Len. He chewed me apart saying I did everything wrong i.e. didn't inflate to correct pressure, and didn't talc the tube. Actually the tire was never disassembled by me before the flat, so the whole issue of lack of talc is a moot point. Moreover, I inflated religiously before each workout. Yeah I'm frustrated just as you are. It is intersecting how he singles out people on his news site whom have had trouble with the tires. As though they are a select few whom can't get their sh... together. As he mentioned on his web site last season, these people are "no name skiers". This only reinforces Jenex's elitist attitude toward the paying consumer. You may want to check and see if they installed o rings on the new SR rim. They forgot on mine. This helped a little, but I continued to have tire failures. It's a little late now, but you could have inflated to 90+ psi. This helped some what for me. "Marsh Jones" wrote in message ...
