Default Nordica Heel Plates

Comments by sjjohnston in the new gear for returning skier thread
about Nordica boots "exploding" reminded me I was to ask for a friend
whether anyone had some old Nordica 582 boots with intact heel plates.
The plastic plates screwed to his boots broke apart last season.
These boots were from the early 1990s. He only skis once every three
or four years and really doesn't want to buy new if the plates are
available.

Hi;
I'm looking to replace the heels on my Nordica boots also. Did you find out if they sell replacement heels. If so, where can I get them?

I tried getting some and had no luck. Apparently they don't think
that they are a replaceable item. Which is bull****. Check your
local used gear exchange.

Good bootfitters often have a box full of odds and ends collected over
the years - worth asking.
