Default Mary Jane Bump Clinic Added!

I just noticed that WP/Mary Jane added another weekday clinic on Feb
10. http://skiwinterpark.com/skischool/SpecialPrograms.html

Need I mention that going on a weekday makes the whole thing more
pleasant?! Not at work. Empty slopes. Park half a block from the Jane
base area. (And bumps, bumps, bumps! Woo hoo!)

Tuesday, huh? I don't have meetings on Tuesdays ...

Does the price include the lift ticket, or no?

Ooh, I just noticed that they have some men's clinics listed, in
addition to women's. This impresses me. The presence of women's-only
clinics without men's-only has always struck me as odd. I still think
the whole concept is a bit odd, but as long as you're going to do it,
kudos to them for doing it the right way!

No. But I think if you have a Superpass, there was a 1/2 price coupon
enclosed with it. (Duh. If you had a pass you wouldn't be asking about
a ticket would you.)

I thought so too. Yet, while I was at the clinic someone told me the
Men's Clinics were not very popular at all. As in so unpopular that
they might drop them.

This led to an amusing but inconclusive discussion about whether this
was a result of a character weakness on the part of men, a strength on
the part of women, or vice versa.

Kind of the opposite. I have a 4pass and would rather not pay for a
lesson that includes a ticket if I could use the 4pass ticket instead.

Yeah, that train of thought had occured to me too. My s.o. commented
that he'd rather have a female instructor ... though, when pressed, his
explanation had little to do with the female teaching style, and more to
do with, um, other assets ....

I've heard a lot of women say that they're more comfortable learning
around other women, for some reason. I've not heard any men say that
they'd rather learn with other men.
