Resort Advertising in UK Newspaper

Plz apologize if this is off topics for this NG.

Could someone tell me what the best UK newspaper "classified" are for
advertising an appartment holiday rental proposal for skying ?

Also at what period of the year do most of you book their holidays?

Sunday Times, Daily Mail Ski Magazine are the two most obvious ones I
think. The Sunday Telegraph also maybe.

Not OT at all.

To answer your questions: I look in my usual national newspaper, which
happens to be
the Guardian. I guess others would look in theirs, eg Telegraph, Times.
Not sure about the tabloids.

I usually book in August/Sept, but this year BA had a good offer on flights,
so I booked in May.

Are you sure you need to use the papers ? For the last 5 years at least I
have booked via the internet. Decided on resort, logged into resort
website, found list of letting agents, chose apartment, booked (sometimes
after receiving paper brochure).

For Val d'Isere, I can STRONGLY recommend Val Agence
http://www.valdisere-agence.com/ Their booking system is the best I have
ever found - all on-line, room layouts, pictures, booking. They give you an
exclusive option on your chosen place for ten days, during which time you
can check with your mates etc, and then confirm on-line with cc. In the
meantime, your chosen apartment disappears from the system ! Paperwork
impeccable - reception super-efficient - apartments we have used were great.

This may not be what you want to hear.....

Incidentally, in England it's skiing, not skying, which is where England
cricketers hit their balls !
And for the pedants - aPartment.

I have an 'off-resort' apartment in France which probably suits mixed
groups best. (Plenty to do for the none skiers). I do like your web-site.
It has a good 'feel' or 'soul' to it.
