Fredricksen Boys

Hey Swedish skiers,

Those Fred'n boys...are they twins or something ? There is a Tobias &
a Matthias. One is a sprinter, one is a standard 5k 10k 15k guy. One
is built like a Peterbilt semi truck or an American football player.
The other looks more standard issue for a distance athlete.

What is the story behind these athletes ? Pretty cool having two top
world class skiers in the house. Like the Freemans.

You mean the Fredriksson brothers... Maybe I spelled it wrong too...
Anyway, I met the young Mathias at Thunder Bay in 1995. I don't know
which one you think looks like a football player but I'll tell you
this, Mathias could play Strong Safety for any team in the NFL. He's a
big kid, about 6'1" and very muscular.

this, Mathias could play Strong Safety for any team in the NFL. He's a
big kid, about 6'1" and very muscular.

Fredriksson it is. They are brothers but not twins, Thobias is 2 years
younger.
In todays WC-race in Gällivare they finished 9 (Mathias) and 10 (Thobias).

I couldn't find a good one of Thobias, but from what I have seen on
Eurosport, Thobias is the one built like a brick outhouse. He is a
first-rate sprinter.
