I would not class SLC as being
close to a large city (population of say 500,000).


But you can only get so many people in. The seats were full at SLC. All you
proved here is that the percentage of the total that gets to attend is
higher here.


You build facilities to cope with the expected demand 82000 watched
the ski jumping at Nagano, about four times as many as at SLC. Sure
ski jumping is more popular in Japan than in the US but even the ice
hockey venue was bigger in Nagano than Utah.
