Default Snow in La Tania (Courchevel) in late March

Hi,

Anyone care to hazard a guess on the snow cover in La Tania at the
end of March? Last time I stayed in Le Praz the snow was fairly
sparce in Feb. I know it will be alright up top, just wonder
whether skiing home is likely to be possible. I'm guessing it's
a bit of a lottery at this stage.

Cheers.
Iain.

Week of March 6th last year you could ski back to La Tania. It was very
slushy, but plenty of coverage from their snow-cannons.

If there's no snow cover what's the alternative - is there a
gondola/bus/donkey?

Ski down to Bouc Blanc and download on the Gondola.

Last year the home Folyeres run was open right to the last day of the season
(April 9th I think). Not a lot of real snow in the resort by then but the
run was open. Some pix were posted at latania.co.uk

All the best,

Edi
