.... I tell them that Tele is Norwegian for can't alpine

I can with all three, as a matter of fact, I randonee with telemark gear.
Great combination.

But since any telemarker worth his salt can parallel /without/ their
heels bolted down, this is easily disproved by swapping gear. The other
way around, however... ;-)
