Still looks like whining to me. How do you interpret this?

Cowboy up you ****in' pussy. The only place you'll find sympathy is between
**** and Syphilis in the ****in' dictionary. I never saw a wild thing feel
sorry for itself. We'll talk about the $5.00 Fine for Whining later.

Jeff I was laughing at you then, and I'm laughing at you at you now.
No one respects you. RSA, or otherwise...And think about it : why
would they ? You're a bum. You can drop a name or two, mention what
you do to scrape by, but the fact is that you're a worthless bum, a
leech on society.

From the above, feel free to interpret it anyway you want (again). It

only makes the hole you dig for yourself that much deeper.

It does suck but you have to set your priorities. I'm 32 and I
ruptured my ACL at Snowbird on March 4th, 2007. I had ACL
reconstruction surgery on April 2nd. I used a cadaver tendon instead
of my own. I got a slight infection that lasted about a week. The
infection hurt more than the surgery. I have never used the brace
because it irritated the infection and I was off the crutches in a
week. I started PT on April 11. I can hyper-extend my knee 1 degree
and get a 120 degree bend now (3 & 1/2-weeks after surgery). My
therapist tells me I am doing well but I still can't do any climbing,
water skiing, mountain biking, or even hip-wader fly fishing this
summer because the bone graft won't even be 80% for six months. My
main goal is to get back to the slopes by next season so I was willing
to give up my summer time activities to heal. I'm taking glucosamine
and chondroitin to help with the healing even though my doctor thinks
its a waste - but he admits it won't hurt either. Some people live
their whole lives without an ACL but my interests require that my knee
is stable. Set your priorities - if you are more interested in summer
time activities than get the surgery done in the Fall. I went fishing,
shooting and ATVing the weekend before I had my surgery and that was
enough to tide me over for a few days. Now I'm bored and stir-crazy -
you can only play video games for so long. Hopefully next ski season
will be better than this pathetic season to make my pain worth it. Has
anyone else noticed that a really bad hurricane season in the Atlantic
means a FANTASTIC ski season in the Rockies?

-Derek
