PILOT demo tracks

All,

I just bought a pair of '03/'04 Salomon Scream 10 Pilot Hots on eBay.
They come with pilot bindings mounted on demo tracks (they are en route
as I write this.) It's my understanding that pilot bindings are easily
adjustable courtesy of the plates mounted to the skis. Is there any
way to remove the demo tracks and turn the s912 Ti bindings into
ordinary pilot bindings?

? Pilot bindings have full toe and heel fore/aft adjustability - I don't
know why there would be a demo version? It's likely the seller
missunderstodd/misspoke and they are already true "Pilots." Wait till
they arrive before jonesing over the possibilities.
