French Pyrenees Skiing

Hi, I hope someone can help - I'm going with a small group to the
Toulouse area over Christmas / New Year this year and plan to fit in a
few days skiing in the French Pyrenees.

We're all quite advanced skiers but we're really keen on finding a
charming village with good restaurants and atmosphere. If the skiing is
reasonable then we would be happy.

I have never skied in the Pyrenees before (apart from Andorra, which I
would rather avoid), so I hope someone could recommend a few resorts /
villages that I could start looking at,
