I am dying to see the biathlon races.... dying

.. . . it's a poor substitute, however, www.biathlonworld.com has a
nice multimedia race-recap presentation going.
On the right hand side of the page, click on the little, "Eventplayer"
button, choose connection bandwidth, & there are a couple of events to
choose from .
They've done a nice simple, but functional job of synchronizing photo
editing, music, and text.

The races last weekend were _great_, particularly from a norwegian
viewpoint. :-)

Both relays, several individual wins.

Bjørndalen had some _amazing_ skis on the relay, it really should be out
of the question to make up 25 seconds on Russia on the last loop, but
according to Ole Einar has been training tough hills at altitude all
year in preparation for the Olympics, and here at the relay that allowed
hime to make up a _lot_ of time on the initial uphill part.

Besides, all the norwegians had great skis, the wax guru got full-page
coverage in several newspapers afterwards.
