Anyone know a projected closing date for Mammoth this year?

No one but Mother Nature knows the answer to that question! My guess
is mid-May. However, if it stays cool and the stroms keep coming,
Mammoth can stay open until the 4th of July weekend.

In fact, I know folks who have gone waterskiing in Shaver Lake (east
of Mammoth) and then snow skiing at Mammoth, all during the 4th of
July weekend!

Yes...it depends on the weather..

But I will tell you this....on May 7th of last year I picked up my season
pass for this year...(you can use them starting May 1st of the year before)
and had 3 days of snow the first week in May!
