Default Best conditions...?

Got flights booked to Geneva on Thurs 13th Jan. Anyone have an idea of where
the best conditions are likely to be within say, 90 mins or so of Geneva
airport? Thanks,

A. D.

Not Verbier, apparently. A FOAF has just been airlifted off (just a
torn tendon) after going off-piste and hitting a rock. Silly girl.

What's a FOAF Ace, that's a new one on me!

This website seems to suggest that if you pick your routes (ie ski over
grassy meadows!!), there is good off piste to be had in Verbier at the
moment

Felly sgrifennodd Simon Brown :
1,000 accidents requiring intervention a day in Switzerland apparently.

This was from the TV programme on DRS last week? Quer - I think it was. I
saw it. There were some interesting statistics, such as:

113,000 accidents a year
4 in 10 are foreigners (it surprised me how low this was!)
1/3 of accidents involve knees

The figures were necessarily estimates because there is no official recording
of the total number of accidents; it was derived from the fact that
38,000 a year claim off their Swiss company insurance for ski accidents.

This all from memory, and there was much more I can't remember.

Hi,

I read this in the paper, don't watch Swiss TV as a rule.
