Do you recognize this location?
http://www.santarosaskiandsports.com/ski.html
Using the link provided, there's a photo of people skiing through some trees. Does anyone recognize the specific location or even the geographic location based on the type of trees? I don't know if it helps, but the link takes you to a northern california ski and board store. |

I can't tell for sure, but the near tree looks like a hemlock, based on the shape of the branches and needles and where they're growing...and the rest all looks like white birch. That combo is found in the northeastern US, not sure where else. -- Mary Malmros Some days you're the windshield, other days you're the bug. |

Thanks Mary, It's a northern california store, but even though I'm no tree expert, I was suspecting an eastern US location. |

The trees look like birch (maybe aspen/poplar) and a conifer. Another clue: by the fashions and the lack of snowboards in the picture, I'm guessing it is several years old. |

Noted: the absence of snowboards. Fashion? I wouldn't know. I don't tend to notice what other people are wearing. The absence of pastels makes me think it's not the '80's. |
