Sun Valley - is this the year?
Been looking at Chester Crocker's site, and it says that Sun Valley's
snowfall this year (as of Jan 16) is 178% of normal. Maybe this is the year to finally ski it.... Dave

Took me a while to find the site you're talking about. Google didn't find it, but I had a link in one of my old files: http://bestsnow.net/ I'd say this is an excellent year to hit Sun Valley. Whether or not you'll have soft snow depends on your timing, but they should have a good base for the rest of the season. The one time I skied there (1997) the base was in the 30's and it was all open except for one run.
