Personally, I don't care for Reno.
Stayed there twice, once on a return from S. Lake Tahoe.
Can't you just spend more time at Lake Tahoe instead ?

Look for a casino/resort on North Lake Tahoe. *Reno has got to be one
of the most depressing cities in the world. *Nothing but fat, old,
midwesterners going from buffet to buffet while constantly smoking

I will be leaving early in the morning and returning only for meals,
showers and sleep. *My wife likes that other stuff.

However, there is a revision in the works. *My wife became concerned
about leaving my teen-age daughter alone for several days, so she is
now considering traveling with the high school team for the middle
three days and letting me go alone for the rest. *If that turns out to
be the case, I can use my accumulated free hotel nights in Reno or
Carson City.

Is the Cal Neva still there?
