Ahh... duh... I didn't realize the numbers on my new Catek Freeride /
Salomon SP6 combo. So yea, max forward lean minus one notch is 24 on
both...

Alas, I am bound to Google Groups for now as I don't have a newsgroup
server I can log into to anymore (are their free open ones around?)

What do you have them set to?

21 on the front and 24 on the back for most conditions; less in

powder, I

think 18 on both. 15 is the minimum setting; measurement is from

vertical.

I used to ride w/ 27 on both, but since I started hardbooting more,

I've

been able to carve in softies better without such extreme forward

lean.

I've seen some free ones in the past Arvin, but most of them aren't very
good. I've never seen this newsgroup on one of the free ones I've
logged into (I've looked into it because my news server is a PITA).

(What a tiny little google box this is. Is it intended for mobile
'phones or something?)

I'm not sure what the Rachlie/ Deeluxe settings mean, but the RAB is at
least stepless. I set my front boot to the minimum lean and the back
one to the max. Works well for me riding flat, mostly in deep powder
bit also for piste work. Lean is good for my style of riding, but I
find that a little less on the front boot is best for holding the nose
where I want it to be on hardpack.

I could trade lean for toe/ heel lift but it seems easier to do it on
the boots.

heh. OK, I'll re-word:

As do all correct-thinking people, from both left and right.

Better?

Remove "correct" and it'll be just fine.
