119 inches at mid-mountain from this storm. 10 feet!

I think I shoveled most of it.

Also, in case you're one of the three people in California who didn't
ski today, the skiing is good. Thanks to Ullr for singles lines.

Who said anything about skiing alone? The singles line is for getting
on a lift with three of your newest friends.

And another sunrise. Went out to the mid-mountain snow stake, which
hides between Wolverine and Beaver bowls*. There's a genuine 195 inches
of snow about 10am. The stake only goes to 260 inches - might have to
break out the extension, if anybody remembers where it got stored - it's
been years since it was needed.

*bowls: these are genuine bowls AKA glacial cirques, not simple stream
drainages like Vail and it's marketing ilk flaunt.

Holy ****. Are you such a pathetic Luddite that you deny the glory of
the Back Bowls?
Genuine bowls. Huge bowls. Fortunately, only decent and blessed
people ski there.

And they have some pitch too. Vain bowls are so flat that any more
than about 12" you have to go straight down.
