Default boots for people with foot problems

hey now,

I have a newbie friend coming up to visit.. he boarded a
couple days last year and wants to punish himself again

He wants to pick up a pair of boots so he doesn't have to
rely only on whats available at rental shops as he has
foot problems, specifically something called mortons neuroma.

Apparently its usually caused by squeezing of the foot from
the sides in the area just behind the toes. Wondering if
any of you out there have this or similar problem what brand
boots you find most comfortable? Really just trying to narrow
things down and not go thru every shop in town as I can
check who carries what before he gets up here.

TIA for any suggestions

Maybe he should look for brands with thermoformed inner shoes. Friend of
mine rides some Salomon Whatever with these and is quite happy.

With that particular disorder I would imagine he has orthotic footbeds for
his shoes... he might use them in whatever snowboard boots he gets. It'll
most likely help.
