looking for a matching Exel Avanti pole

Just broke a 2001 edition 167.5 Exel Avanti pole. The pole did not die
in dignity: I stepped on it fiddling with a stranger's fancy camera
trying to take his picture. Anyone got a similar pole for sale? Any
Exel Avanti or similar pole will do.

There's someone who sells spare individual ski poles, but I can't find
the link offhand. They guy once posted about it here. Perhaps someone
else remembers or a search on the google group site will find it.

I've got a spare shaft from an Avanti Evolution I got in 2005 -- 100%
carbon 65gms/meter if you're interested. Oval.

Not sure what's reasonable -- say $70 plus shipping?

I also have a bunch of Exel parts -- straps etc, new and used if
anyone needs anything..

The shaft I have is definitely not the top -- it was second or third
from top. I think it was second but am not certain -- also confused.

Sorry to not have more info. I got it from New Moon Ski shop for an
outrageous price (I think it was about $100) n a similar situation to
yours . But I swithced to Swix before I built it up.

I think New Moon might have single shafts still so you maybe can check
with them.

JT - I emailed N Moon to see if they have older "top" shafts.
