Default Still Skiing the Shawangunks

Upper Awosting road has fine coverage. Has been packed with a snowmobile.
Today we skied 10 km or more from the parking lot up past the Awosting Lake
turn off. Waxless skis, but red klister (see related fish sauce recipe post)
would have been fine. 2% grey snow, the rest was white.

Had a road ride planned, but I came to my senses. I am a skier, and I
shouldn't forget it.

There's still tons of snow at Sam's Point Pitch Pine Reserve in Cragsmoore 5
miles from Ellenville, NY. I skied there earlier this week. Some of the
roads to the antanae farm will be skiable for many more days. And there is
plenty of snow on the road near Awosting Falls. That should be skiable for a
couple more weeks.

Rosendale, NY where I hope we are going out for dinner tonight.
