society one is not supposed to be allowed to keep bullying and making
_empty_ threats up to the point that he goes over the edge and carries
one out.

One has to extrapolate his "under any circumstances" threat to mean
that anytime you walk down any street that someone could walk up
behind you and hit you with a stick. And that that is his stated
intention.
