Default Discount Snowblades/Skiboards?

Hi, anyone know of a good reliable online source?
I am thinking about buying some snowblades or skiboards and don't really
know where to get a good price and am not certain what type I should get.
Wood or foam, I dunno.

Thanks Chris

I can't help you with your question ...

I do, however, have a comment. I was thinking about checking out
skiboards, too, when I heard that apparently, with the advent of
skiboards, doctors are seeing the return of radial leg breaks that had
disappeared after skiers started using modern bindings. Take a look --
the bindings on ski boards are pretty, um, basic. They don't have the
various release angles that real ski bindings do, and therefore, you get
nasty, nasty breaks when you fall wrong.

Mind you, I can't remember where I read this, so I may be totally off
base. But it definitely turned me off of the idea of ski boards.

I have a friend who's an orthropedic doctor and an avid skiier and she
says that the skiboards are the most dangerous thing on the mountain and
she wouldn't ever put one on or let any kid put one on. And this woman
plays lacrosse and hockey.
