Rit makes something called "dye remover" which others have recommended
for similar situations.

Ooh! I'll have to check that out.

Ummm.... they're "long johns," aren't they? Do you go around wearing your
long johns in public?

Tip of the Day: it really matters not what color long johns are.

Well, often as not, I do change clothes in my car ... which is pretty
much public.

It's just annoying. I'm not the pink-wearing kind of person. Certainly
not the mottled pink that these long johns now sport. Besides, the set
in question was given to me by my German grandmother and can't easily be
replaced.

I often change into my bike shorts in the parking lot, and nobody seems
to complain about my severly caucasion moon - I'll be people would not
be taken aback by your girlie-colored johns.

Well, I'm not the pink-wearing kind of person either, yet my ski boots
for the last 7 years have been a pair of pink-ish Salomon Equipe 7s.
Function before fasion, I always say..........

Besides, your German Grammy would probably get a good laugh out of the
whole affair. Think of them as "tye-dyed."

Sure.

But meantime, I've ordered some of that Rit stuff suggested earlier.
It's worth a shot. And this isn't the only time I've ever screwed up my
laundry!

Hmm, just be glad you're not one of the macho penis-gourd-wearing males on
this and on other ski-related groups.

Hmm, wait, if they WERE macho penis-gourd-wearing males, they'd be manly
enough not to care about loud pink long johns. Because -- Real Men don't
wear underwear.

If that happened to me this season, I'd get the Rit dye remover and see whether
I could stripe the undies up like a "Cat in the Hat" hat, to indicate my
feelings of what a gourd-head Mike Myers is.

Jeesh, could you imagine "What color is your underwear?" becoming this season's
trendiest lift-buddy question?

Jim in Texas
acknowledging the University of Texas pathetic victory yesterday over Texas
A&M by THINKING about wearing orange underwear.

Speedo photo link, Tabi?
