Dave Living and visiting probably give different perspectives as well. I worked there and dealt with a lot of the people differently than a visitor would have. Same with the perception of good vs. great I suppose. You're on vacation, having a great time, I'm going for the 10th time (if they last that long). More humdrum? I don't have much enthusiasm for skiing anymore. How many thousands of days can a person spend doing it? I think I've found out. As part of that evolution, the whole scene is less appealing to me. Just the way it goes I guess.. |
