Default Smuggler's Notch, Vermont

Doing 5 days over MLK weekend with family. Any insights about the scene, on
and off the snow? I am dreading the mandatory time share sales pitch
(skiing Mt. Amway!). I am not sure what makes it so "family friendly"-- is
it a theme park? Less hoards of gaffawing drunk guys to upset the clean
family fun? And how is the mountain?
