Wolf Creek and Pagosa in early March
Anyone want to share their experiences skiing at Wolf Creek?
We are staying at Pagosa Springs and will have some time away from the slopes (two days) so we are looking for suggestions on what to do. Has anyone been to a particular hot springs location that is reccommended? Please reply to the group...or reassemble my email addy from below....thanks. davids at directlink dot net |

Wolf Creek and Pagosa in early March
Wolf Creek typically gets more snow than any other Colorado resort... and
March/April are the snowiest months in Colorado.... So, if you like to ski on snow, you have chosen the right place. That said, Wolf Creek is a pretty small area. Don't expect the expansiveness of a Vail or Keystone. Skiing in March in Colorado is a treat. When it isn't snow, it is typically in the 30's and sunny, which at altitude and without humidity, can fell about 20 degrees warmer than that. Wear layers, because you could be stripping them off...
